- Program Notes
- The pitch material of this piece is derived from the frequencies at which the planets orbit the sun in our solar system, and the harmonic series of those notes. I find the texture itself is also kind of reminiscent of the cosmological aesthetic. It was not intentional when writing the piece, but I am quite fond of how all the ties/slurs/phrase marks kind of resemble orbital diagrams!
