A few words about time–velocity: The color black indicates moving as fast as possible for each performer. Light blue indicates slowing down—how slow? For that, the green second-stem functions as a limiter when necessary; therefore, this count in seconds is merely indicative. Thus, the relationship between distance and duration is, in a certain way, subjective and will depend on how fast each performer can execute it. Consequently, this count in seconds is simply a temporal reference, a limiter, and not a metric count as such. The aim is that black represents the greatest energy the performer should exert. The graphic length of the green line does not correspond to its temporal duration; its length is purely for proper visual arrangement.
