- “Supra Calculated Will” aims to be an introduction to my own idea of deterministic live control of resonances, in the era of digital augmentation. !e piece studies the idea of instrumental “presence” and sound dystopia. !e electronics are naturalistic, they behave organically: they re-synthesize the sounds of instruments, at the same time as they are played. !ey constitute realistic models in the realm of what I have termed “aural deep-fakes”. Sounds can be grabbed, pulled and pushed, morphed and glitched, and that which remains is an amplified presence, a higher presence of what acoustic presence could ever be: a totally simulation of the sound source, electronically altered, creating a hybrid aesthetic.
