- Constellation, as the name implies, is a piece inspired by space and in particular, the constellations that roam the skies at night. The vibraphone serves as the vehicle for these ideas, because of its unique sound and the unique techniques associated with it, like the use of the pedal, and the four mallet technique, both of which are on display during this performance. Like space itself, the music is peaceful and free, showcasing the beauty of space, and what inhabits our skies at night.
