- My Symphony No. 1 was adapted from my Missa Brevis, of which I felt that, on reflection, the Gloria movement wasn't fully suited for choir. As such, I kept the Kyrie as a separate standalone piece, and rewrote the Missa Brevis for string orchestra, resulting in this symphony. The third movement was added shortly thereafter in April 2026.
