- "Ensconced in the Verdant Provenance" is basically a transcription of what "muscle memory's improvisation" would be like. I wrote this sitting at the piano and simply let my fingers go where they wished without thinking too much about what was happening. Instead, I trusted the process and my hands, and the result is a rhythmically intricate, texturally rich short piano piece.
