Ils nous regardent :

is a work which is both dynamic and atmospheric, contemplative and intense, and of great rhythmic simplicity for the piano which is the stable counterpart of the exploded music that we find on digital tape.

The tempo must be very strict, particularly synchronous with the Chinese block as in measure 54. The notation of the digital tape only serves as a rhythmic reference point for the starting and stopping of the different atmospheric sequences and in no way represents pitches.

You can amplify the piano or not depending on the size of the room. In any case, look for sonic balance in mixing the piano with the digital tape. To practice the piece, there is a version for digital tape with a click track.

This depot therefore contains the score and the piano part with a digital file of the piece (piano and tape).

Le tempo doit être très strict, particulièrement synchrone avec le bloc chinois comme à la mesure 54. La notation de la bande numérique ne sert que comme point de repère rythmique au déclenchement et aux arrêts des différentes séquences atmosphériques et ne représente aucunement des hauteurs de notes réelles.

On peut amplifier le piano ou non selon la grandeur de la salle. Dans tous les cas, cherchez l’équilibre sonore dans le mixage du piano avec la bande numérique. Pour pratiquer la pièce, il y a une version

pour bande numérique avec “click track”.
