- Program Notes
- "Jeg er hos dig, den rene luft—" (loosely meaning "I am with you, the pure air") is a work that deals with existential themes. Somewhat programmatically, the work consists of a series of circular or meditative sections, that slowly dissipates as the piece progresses. While the rest of the ensembles move in these orbits, the isolated soloist exists outside of everything like a passive observer. Throughout the piece he tries to make himself heard, but nevertheless the world around him continues undisturbed.
