- Written for the Imani Winds, performed at the March 27, 2023 Composer Reading Session at Michigan State Universtity Aether: the material that fills the region of the universe beyond the terrestrial sphere (according to ancient and medieval science) This piece explores my views on the dichotomy of space. On one hand, it is occupied by violent, heartless objects beyond our comprehension. On the other, it is filled with beautiful loneliness.
