Program Notes: In tabletop, video and role playing games, a "legendary action" is an ability usually possessed by a monster or an enemy that is considered particularly rare, powerful or epic in scope. Previously titled "Disrupt" this short work for symphony orchestra is a spectacular and uplifting concert overture. Completed on Tuesday, November 14, 2023; revised and expanded May 20-23, 2024.
