- This piece was written between 2017-2018. The title āKaleidoscopeā refers to the treatment of the main musical motif and the general structure of the piece; the goal was to see how many ways the same motif could be treated, using a wide variety of tonal areas, textures, and influences, much like how turning a kaleidoscope causes the same pattern to be seen in an ever-changing way. The piece is structured in 5 sections, each with their own distinct character.
