- Poem #2 is based on the ‘The Carcass’ by Charles Baudelaire, the instruments are bass trombone and electric guitar with an optional addition of a synthesizer and/or drum set. The music is primal, stripping away harmonic context and relying on dissonant intervalic relationships. One melody persists throughout the piece, it develops with other music growing out of it. The Music uses 1/4 tones. In the guitar this is achieved by re tuning the B string, this string is used exclusively for 1/4 tone notes
