- This work is part of the album "Regression" by Duo Volgaris. Available on Spotify and Apple Music. I happen to own a Persian tablecloth, with patterns that are printed in repetitive patterns in different sizes and layers, very similar to Anatolian carpets. With the print as my main inspiration, I translated the patterns of different speeds into layers of polyrhythms and polymeters in the music. While using the methods, I wanted as well to express my sadness and anger. Ultimately, this piece unifies the elements of a rhythmical etude, visual demonstration, emotional development and a meaningful story.
