- Many associate music with nature. Composers such as Debussy, Vivaldi, Stravinsky, and Ligeti have written famous pieces associating the natural aspects of our world with sound produced, written, performed, and interpreted by humans. So what makes sounds so natural? In this pieces, I attempt to associate the human-made noise of a trombone with the human-made noises of an urban city. Furthermore, I attempt to portray the image of a person sitting on a city park bench at night. As the night continues, their mind starts to shift. Maybe they think of washing-machines, or phone dials, or a jazz concert they have attended. There are so many possibilities when sitting on a city park bench at night.
