- This was the very first piece that got me into music composition. In 2012, the German metal band Rammstein, would collaborate with German composer Sven Helbig (b. 1968) to arrange one of their popular songs “Mein Herz Brennt” for solo piano. The official music video would be released in the same year, under the direction Zoran Bihać, featuring Helbig’s arrangement. Around 2018 I had gotten obsessed with the song, and I attempted to make my own arrangement by finding previous transcriptions or arrangements and adding or adjusting lines to my preference. However, recently I decided to revisit this score and do it a proper service and present it as a transcription of Helbig’s version as it appears in the official music video.
