Fabian Blum was born in 2000 in Siegburg near Bonn, Germany, but grew up near Berlin. Since 2019 Fabian has been studying composition with Moritz Eggert at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts. Fabian has won a number of prizes: Opus One composition workshop of the Berlin Philharmonic, Carl von Ossietzky composition competition and others. His compositions were performed several times at the Intersonanzen Festival for new music in Potsdam and in 2021 at the Transparent Sound New Music Festival in Budapest.
