He was born in Seoul in 1993 and earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Arts from the Korea National University of Arts. His main artistic interest lies in exploring the flow of tension and release created by the energy and directionality of sound within musical structures.
His works have been premiered by ensembles such as the Ensemble Modern, Barcelona Modern Ensemble, mdi Ensemble, Dissolution Ensemble, Ensemble TIMF, Ensemble S201, Ast Quartet, Hwaum Chamber Orchestra, and the National Orchestra of Korea.
In addition, starting from February 2026, he is scheduled to study under Professor Dieter Ammann at Hochschule Luzern - Musik, Luzern, Switzerland.
