Movement 4 is an ode to overcoming oppression, and the internal strength to persist despite all odds. The story of the removal of Indigenous people in the Americas is one of tragedy, and while there is no easy way to represent or describe this deep and rooted pain in all its complexities, this movement seeks to serve as a reminder of that pain and the struggles the Indigenous population continue to face today. Above all, this movement is about dealing with the grief of a continent lost to violence and greed, but gathering the courage to stand in the face of this terror and fight for a better future for the beautiful land we now call the United States. It is a reminder that the descendants of my ancestors are still here, and we are proud, and we cannot be ignored.
