Janna Graham is a composer and multi-instrumentalist originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently based in Cardiff, Wales, where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Composition at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Before moving to Wales, Janna spent eight years living and working in New York City. During this time, she was a percussionist for the 2019 Broadway revival of West Side Story and subbed for the world premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s final show, Here We Are. Her time in the city also included playing for off-Broadway productions like Sweet Charity (starring Sutton Foster), Merrily We Roll Along, and Cyrano (starring Peter Dinklage), as well as serving as a sub for Broadway productions Six, Tina, and The Prom.
Today, Janna’s work spans chamber music, orchestral music, pop, electronic, and musical theater. She is currently developing a new musical titled Good Thinkin’ with collaborator Avery Rabbitt and recording an album with her band, sky frog. She can also be seen on screen as a musician and actor in the 2024 Mean Girls movie.
