Thomas Lazarou is a Greek composer and noise artist based in Thessaloniki. He has studied advanced music theory and piano from a young age. Lazarou studies composition under Michalis Lapidakis at the Department of Music Studies (AUTH). He moves across contemporary music, experimental electronics, and multimedia art. He has composed music for theatre productions, short films, and performance works. As Toulou, his noise persona, he performs in underground and interdisciplinary art scenes. He has collaborated with ensembles, performers, and multimedia artists in Greece and abroad. He is also a member of Post-Sonic Experiment, an independent artistic collaboration dedicated to promoting contemporary music.
