World Piano Day 2027 – International Composition Award
Are you ready to bring your musical vision to life on an international stage? The fourth edition of the World Piano Day Composition Competition invites composers from around the world to take part in an inspiring creative challenge for piano, harp, and string orchestra.
This prestigious competition seeks original works in the cinematic and neoclassical style, each telling a compelling story in no more than 3.5 minutes.
Why participate
Creative freedom: Express your imagination and emotion through your own voice in a cinematic or neoclassical language.
Professional recognition: The winning composition will be performed live by Dirk Brossé, Prima La Musica, and pianist Johan Famaey during World Piano Day 2027 on March 20 at AMUZ Antwerp.
Global exposure: Your music will be shared with an international audience of musicians, conductors, and music lovers.
Prize: The winner receives a 500 euro award and the honor of hearing their composition performed by world-class artists.
How to participate
Submit your original composition in PDF format with audio mockup before February 15, 2026.
Complete your registration via www.worldpianoday.be and pay the registration fee of 75 euro.
