The 10th Dante Moro International Composition Competition is open to composers of all ages and nationalities. Sections: A: A composition for solo piano, piano and violin, piano and cello, or piano trio, to serve as the soundtrack for a 5’21” video presentation dedicated to Dante Moro. B: A work for piano and string orchestra (max. 8 minutes), inspired by and titled after a sculpture or drawing by Dante Moro.
Application: Submit an anonymous PDF score (using a motto/pseudonym), personal documents, and a short biography by November 1, 2026.
Fee: €20 if submitted by September 1, 2026 (early bird); €40 thereafter.
Prizes: Up to two winning works will be performed at a public concert in Falcade on December 29, 2026. Winners will receive a diploma, commemorative plaque/medal, accommodation for one night (if attending), and a share of the €1,500 total prize fund. Results: Announced by December 6, 2026.
